New Year, New Stars ✨ …read more in next post

Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?
It was the year 2015, I was a Senior and had to prepare a speech for our English Class.
Several months before, I found myself in one ☝️ of our classes and my classmates and I all got the news that our intensely laborious 20- ish page Essay that we had been working on needed to get condensed. 😳
We were invited to first “take the juice from the fruit” (take the most important parts/concepts/ideas) from our work, then craft a 5-7 minute Powerpoint Presentation and present it in our University’s Auditorium in front of several of our faculty!
When I heard our professor tell us this, it made me instantly think 💭 about Gilligan’s reaction from Gilligan’s Island 🏝️ in the episode in which the professor told the stranded crew that the island is going under. I’ll never forget his expression: pure disbelief, shock and fear all at the same time. He replied :”Hellllllllllllllp!!!,” and started running away.🤣😂😅
That’s exactly how I felt at that time and it took a tremendous amount of self control to not react as he did once I escaped the building. 🏃♀️ 💨
My experience in front of people consisted of choir, plays and dance class in my younger years, then drama in High School and even Speech Class in our University. However, these types of presentations were all with my classmates who I knew very well. And growing up, I was a very shy girl.
These types of events were created for parents to have a chance to be a supportive part in their children’s school lives and helped their children push themselves to work together in a team and be challenged. This was very different. We had to present in front of many of our faculty members!
As I was telling my Mom about all of this, she just simply shrugged 🤷♀️ it off and said: “Just pretend they’re all a bunch of potatoes!, and you’ll be just fine.” And I did just that (except I had to contain myself not to laugh 😆🤣)
So, I presented my speech and it went very well, and I’m very happy that I did it because now I truly enjoy presenting in front of people!!!
Mom also said: “All you can do is do the best you can and just leave the rest to God.” And these two things she said gave me cheer, support and backup all at the same time!!!

Keep shining Brightly
Be brave and –
VIBE WELL
P. S.: btw., it’s never as bad as you think it and always keep in mind “this too shall pass.”

Saw a dark horse one morning,
a dark horse walking through the suburbs.
In the mist, it was moving slowly
as I asked myself:
Where did it come from?
Where does it go?
The dark horse walking through the suburbs…
It’s looking for home
tryin’ to find back
where it belongs –
tryin’ to find its pack.
In life,
we find ourselves searching.
Searching for answers
trying to find where we belong.

I know my place is
within a song.
A song gives us
the fleedom
that we all long.
To find your tribe –
seek people with whom you jive,
people who share
what you feel inside.
Songs give us comfort,
they give us peace –
help us connect:
sing 🎤 to the beat!

We’re all in this life together
as it’s fragile as a feather.
It’s always good to get together
in most any kind of weather.
Weather changes every day:
your thoughts and actions,
your vibe-alog –
make sure you take good care
of those around you and share
that…
A song is a playful way
to share love with the world
and brighten the day –
Find your inner song
and don’t forget to pray!

Love unconditionally yours,
✨Evana.

Be Blessed Past a Hundred and One…
Don’t let your heart ♥️ go numb –
you will be blessed past a Hundred and One;
you know in your heart you are the only one
that can make your life as bright as the sun ☀️
The sun is already waiting for you:
a thousand blessings and a billion more -💫
there is no end to your sun
it is golden in your core. 🌟
Once you’ve exposed it from deep inside,
there’s no more hiding behind your smile.
All of these years you have buried inside,
a beautiful you that’s full of pride.
Build more bridges and less walls,
know your limits and stand tall,
stay the course and let God guide,
he’s in charge right at your side.
And remember when you’re low,
waves 🌊 of life are ebb and flow –
it’s nature’s music – let it go!
Be a blessing, no need stressing –
for what you put into this world
will come back a thousand fold again
and is only a win –
if we lay down all of our life of sin
and surrender it all to him.
In the end, we are all kin:
meant to lead the weary and those burdened,
we are all from the same mold –
let’s get out from the cold,
out of the mess and learn from each other:
Stress less, love more and be friends with your
sister and brother.
🫶Bless and be blessed,
Evana.
Are you more of a night or morning person?
Mid morning and sometimes early morning (if I don’t have to work), love ❤️ mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee ☕️, listening to nature and tuning into God moments, evenings for dancing and singing. At the end of each day, raise your cup 🫶 celebrate 🎉 life, it’s a gift 🎁 most wondrous!
What about you?
Evana.

WE ARE ONE
~ by E. Lang

Mother Earth needs Us.
Connect the Dots,
Get Up and Trust!
Our Mother Earth Needs Us,
why don’t you think that’s just –
we’re all here together,
in each and every weather –
we’re not made to rust,
nor turn to leather –
Our Earth needs Us,
in God we Trust.

Don’t care about black or white,
blue or red –
rather think about life –
than death.
Let’s put our differences to rest –
that’s our Earth at its best!
Get Up! Stand Up! Speak Up!
for You, for Me, for ALL.
We don’t have to listen
to the chatter
as the world continues
to fabricate the matter –
it’s your choice
to either listen
or follow in the wallow
of yet another swallowed.

What truly makes change
are the people
who help rearrange
the furniture in the house.
Stir it Up, Shake it Up,
gently Disrupt.
Fight for our Change –
Fill Your Cup
and Buckle Up!
The Angels agree,
the planets align,
what is new? what is new?
Something quite
divine!

This Earth is All Yours And All Mine,
Let’s treat it like our Mother
and shine!
If we, we, we the people
could change, change , change the world.

Namaste,
WE ARE ONE
Blessings,
Evana.
P.S.:
We’re just some humans passing through,
we’ve made mistakes like all of You,
Life is brief and time’s a thief –
as a dot we come, we leave as dust –
Together – We Are One.

I’m not a squeaky wheel –
I come as quiet thunder,
to our creator I kneel
to free the spell
we’re under.
The mixing bowl
is ours to change:
a teaspoon hope,
a cup of love –
a pint forgiveness
and trust above.

If we, we, we
the people
can change, change, change
the world.
Let’s close the face
of paranoia,
and start the chain
of understand.
Let’s strengthen not weaken
our ground –
at least we can
slow it down

I’m not a squeaky wheel –
I come as quiet thunder,
to our creator I kneel
to free the spell
we’re under.
Keep shining brightly,
Evana.
