There are many types of gone,

some are gone along –

from the heavens you’ll hear

their song.

Others are gone, but here to stay

not only in memory but in a futures’ day.

You may see them again and always pray

for those that are dear to you

and those who are lost

for everyone needs prayer,

not just your fingers crossed.

Make time for the living,

make space for the human race.

Many struggle with keeping a healthy pace.

It’s not a race, no need to chase just seek grace.

Once we realize it’s not of us

we begin to understand our case

then enjoy life and not let time a waste with things that leave a bitter taste.

our time is short and

heaven awaits.

Start addressing all the blessings

I’m just a woman passing through,

I feel real good ‘bout what I do –

and a class that should be taught.

Doing good does good vibration,

no medicine, no alteration –

You’re not fooling me;

from under your scars,

we are not that far

from being all the same

what a shame –

Shame on you

for being blue,

blue has never looked good

Stop being a coward

using a crutch,

playing the victim

doesn’t do very much.

One thing I will say to you:

In this life

you are aboard a ship

of fools,

but newsflash hunny –

I sail my own canoe.

Face it don’t chase it,

you are running from yourself,

running away –

no one wins in shadowboxing,

not any time, not any day.

Stop being a coward

using a crutch,

When the can is dented,

kick it from the inside.

Don’t hide but do confide,

life can be a bumpy ride –

think of peeps in your life

peeps you can trust.

And help each other,

You don’t need to keep it in,

In this life we can only conquer together

that’s why we’re urged to divide

cuz then no one can be helped

and chaos won’t subside.

there can’t be peace with our brother,

this is something we all know

in our hearts and through our soul.

It’s not a race so give grace

you can slow down your pace

and keep a smile on your face –

that’s something that never goes to waste.

It’s easy to get swallowed

in the business of life –

so stop ✋ and be still,

for in stillness

you will find your light.

Remember to let go and forgive

in order to better live –

it will free what you’ve been holding,

and definitely be molding:

a better person, a brighter future

and the common good is nurtured.
