wind in the trees –

how peaceful it is

just to be.

for us to see.

We can be of the sea –

nature is free,

but needs us indeed!

This earth of open space

is ours of the human race –

ours to share:

our turn to care,

this is where we live –

our place.

 

The less we have

the more we grow

in wisdom, learning,

teach and know.

 

What’s priceless in worth

and more precious than gold –

is a kind heart

and a grateful soul.

Waves of the ocean,

wind in the trees –

every new day is

for us to see.

 

It’s time to find our unity.

we’re losing our immunities

in our communities 

of equal opportunities.

Think about the eagle 🦅 high,

so small are we so short our lives:

as dust we come, as dust we go –

what happens now is ours to show.

wind in the trees –

for us to see.

 

What are we leaving our children here?

a legacy to carry for those held dear?

let’s not lose face –

are we but falling from grace?

in our case we need to leave a good space:

A good spot to trot,

a good place to roam

no need to stay on our phones,

no need to surf the web,

play endless games –

or scroll into oblivion

of all the same.

Our worlds have zombies plentiful,

the streets are bare and no one near

as all the networks jam packed full

of people’s lost in lonely worlds.

Expressionless faces on this earth

looking down instead of up –

where are they finding worth,

empty always their cup;

onto a screen instead of the sky,

pulled into one level after another

as one only sees this way their brother.

 

 

Can’t you see the stars above?

Down below’s the oceanfloor.

Seek another for their face

to hear their words 

and warm embrace…

Health is an indispensable wealth,

Time cannot be put on a shelf,

Change is in a flux beheld.

Loved ones and true friends excel

when love and care is not withheld

and one is compelled

to keep the connections alive

outside of oneself.

 

Moments shared and memories made,

these are the things you cannot trade.

all things have a way

to flow down the river

each day.

Health, Time and Change

some great giants to battle

the answers lie in themselves –

they surely always rattle

people’s minds, spirits and souls

no matter the amount of bankrolls.

 

Since in time, change always will be

health we can be grateful for

each day to breathe,

the greatest strength that’s found within

is to stay close to God and share with him

give him our thoughts, fears,

struggles and needs –

surrender all to him indeed!

 

Find forgiveness in your heart

and always do your part,

it’s the best way to start –

put the horse before the cart.
